Ve Neill bestimmt seit den 1980er Jahren den Make-Up Look der Hollywood Blockbuster mit und gestaltet mit seltener Vielseitigkeit sowohl Beauty Looks als auch Special Make-Up Effects. Ihr Portfolio überspannt Jahrzehnte mit Highlights wie Star Trek, The Lost Boys, fast allen Tim Burton Filmen wie Edward Scissorhands oder Beetlejuice und Blockbustern wie Pirates of the Carribean, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay und vielen mehr.

Vor einigen Jahren hat Ve ihre eigene Maskenbildner:innen-Schule: „LEGENDS" in L.A. gegründet und begonnen, ihr umfangreiches Wissen zu vermitteln. Nun ist es gelungen, diese Legende für 2 Masterclasses nach Wien und Berlin einzuladen. An 5 Tagen vermittelt Ve Neill ihr Wissen:

• Unauffälliges Movie Make-Up und Erweiterung auf Beauty oder Character Make-Up


• Abdecken von existenten Tattoos, Aufbringen von FX-Tattoos auf abgedeckten Tattoos und nicht tätowierter Haut


• Anlegen eines natürlichen wirkenden Bartes aus der Hand, mit Wollkrepp und Echthaarkrepp


• "Piraten-Look" a la Orlando Bloom: Movie-Make-up mit SFX-Make-Up Themen wie Sonnenbräune, Sonnenbrand, trockenen Lippen und Schmutz


• Auszug aus Ves "Trauma Class": Wunden, Narben, Kratzer, Hämatome und Verbrennungen mit Blasen

Diese Masterclass läuft auf Wunsch von Ve Neill mit Modellen. Weil wir der Meinung sind, dass man von so einer Meisterin auch schon durch Zuhören und -sehen lernen kann, bieten wir Modellplätze zu einem massiv reduzierten Preis an. Als Modell können Sie die Handgriffe nicht selbst ausführen und halten sich mit Fragen bitte zurück, um den Lernfluss der Teilnehmer:innen nicht zu stören. Aber Sie sehen und hören alles und können von allem Erlebten profitieren! Wir hoffen, dass wir so auch Kolleg:innen mit kleinerem finanziellen Spielraum eine Teilnahme ermöglichen. Secrets of a Legend - Exclusive Masterclass with Ve Neill

Ve Neill has been defining the make-up look of Hollywood blockbusters since the 1980s, creating both beauty looks and special make-up effects with rare versatility. Her portfolio spans decades with highlights such as Star Trek, The Lost Boys, almost all Tim Burton films such as Edward Scissorhands or Beetlejuice and blockbusters such as Pirates of the Carribean, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay and many more.

3 Oscar awards and numerous nominations confirm the importance of this true master of make-up.

A few years ago, Ve founded her own make-up school: “LEGENDS” in L.A. and began to pass on her extensive knowledge. Now she has succeeded in inviting this legend to Vienna and Berlin for 2 masterclasses. Ve Neill will impart her knowledge over 5 days:

• Inconspicuous movie make-up and extension to beauty or character make-up


• Covering existing tattoos, applying FX tattoos to covered tattoos and non-tattooed skin


• Creating a natural-looking beard by hand, with wool crepe and real hair crepe


• “Pirate look” a la Orlando Bloom: movie make-up with SFX make-up themes such as sun tan, sunburn, dry lips and dirt


• Excerpt from Ve's “Trauma Class”: Wounds, scars, scratches, hematomas and burns with blisters

This master class runs with models at Ve Neill's request. Because we believe that you can learn from such a master by observation as well, we are offering model places at a massively reduced price. As a model, you cannot perform the techniques yourself and are asked to hold back with questions so as not to disrupt the participants' learning flow. But you will see and hear everything and can benefit from everything you experience! We hope that this will also enable colleagues with less financial freedom to participate.
