Fashion and Beauty Make-up
Rae Morris is a real icon in the field of beauty and fashion make-up. And yet, the longest-serving L’Oreal Creative Director (2003-2013) started small: with a hair salon in her home city of Brisbane. At the age of 19, the Australian native traveled to Istanbul to a “Model of the World” contest, where she was offered the privilege of touching up Naomi Campbell’s lip gloss – in front of the frantically clicking shutters of the world’s paparazzi. Her passion had been aroused. Back in Australia, Rae completed a training course with legendary make-up artist Richard Sharah. Since then, Morris has worked with the world’s most famous photographers, did the make-up looks for magazine covers and editorials, and designed and directed make-up for well-known fashion shows. Rae Morris doesn’t just regularly share her knowledge in seminars but has also published it in six successful books that serve as textbooks in make-up schools around the world.
